Shipping Policy

How BN C-CORPT Inc Ships Solid Wood Furniture Across the United States and Around the World

At BN C-CORPT Inc, shipping is not an afterthought. It is a critical part of the customer experience, and it is one of the areas where furniture companies most often fall short. A beautifully made solid oak shelf board that arrives three weeks late, a walnut bookcase that shows up with a crushed corner because it was poorly packaged, a dining table that is left at the curb without explanation, or a freight shipment that sits in a terminal because nobody told the customer a delivery appointment was required—these are the kinds of failures that turn a good purchase into a frustrating one. We have built our shipping policy around avoiding those failures.

This Shipping Policy explains in detail how BN C-CORPT Inc handles order processing, packaging, carrier selection, shipping costs, delivery timelines, tracking, delivery requirements, freight shipments, damage claims, international orders, and the many situations that can arise between the moment you place an order and the moment the product is in your home. It is written for our customers in the continental United States, in Hawaii and Alaska, in U.S. territories, and around the world. It reflects our actual practices, not aspirational marketing language. Where we cannot promise something—such as an exact delivery date—we say so plainly rather than hiding behind vague language.

We are a Houston-based company located at 1230 Kress St, Suite 1, Houston, Texas 77020, and we sell through our website at bncco.store. If you have a shipping question that is not answered on this page, please contact us directly at huy.duc.399@gmail.com or +84828585866 before you place your order. We would much rather answer a question in advance than resolve a problem after the fact.

Our Shipping Philosophy

Honesty About Timelines

Furniture shipping is inherently variable. Parcel carriers handle millions of packages per day, freight networks involve multiple terminals and handoffs, weather disrupts routes, and custom-built furniture takes time to produce. Any company that promises a guaranteed delivery date for a solid wood bookcase or a freight-shipped dining table is either oversimplifying the process or setting the customer up for disappointment.

Our approach is different. We provide honest estimates based on the information available from carriers and our own production schedules. We tell you what we know, we tell you what we do not know, and we update you when the situation changes. We do not promise expedited service we cannot deliver, and we do not hide production lead times behind optimistic shipping estimates. If a custom piece will take six weeks to build and one week to ship, we say so.

Protection as a Priority

Furniture is heavy, bulky, and susceptible to damage in transit. A shelf board that is 60 inches wide and 20 inches deep is not a small parcel. A dining table with a carved pedestal base is not something that can be tossed into a padded envelope. Protecting these products during shipping requires appropriate packaging, appropriate carrier selection, and appropriate handling instructions.

We invest in packaging and carrier selection because damage is expensive for everyone. A damaged shipment costs the customer time and frustration, costs us the cost of replacement and return freight, and costs the carrier a claim. Preventing damage is better than resolving it after the fact, and our shipping practices reflect that priority.

Communication Throughout the Process

Shipping is a black box for many customers. They place an order, receive a confirmation, and then wait—often without knowing whether the order is in production, whether it has shipped, where it is, or when it will arrive. We try to eliminate that uncertainty by providing clear communication at each stage: order confirmation, shipping confirmation with tracking where available, and proactive updates when delays occur. If you ever feel that you do not know what is happening with your order, contact us, and we will tell you exactly where things stand.

Order Processing Times

Understanding the Difference Between Processing and Shipping

Order processing is the time between when you place an order and when the order is handed to a carrier. Shipping is the time between when the carrier receives the order and when it is delivered. These are two distinct phases, and both matter for estimating when your order will arrive. Many customers conflate the two, which leads to confusion when a package takes longer than expected. We try to be clear about both phases.

In-Stock Products

For standard in-stock products, our typical processing time is one to three business days. During this window, we confirm the order, prepare the item for shipment, package it appropriately, and hand it to the carrier. Processing time does not include weekends or major U.S. holidays. If you place an order on a Friday afternoon, processing typically begins on the following business day.

Some in-stock products may ship more quickly, and some may take longer during periods of high volume. If your order is time-sensitive, contact us before placing it, and we will tell you what to expect.

Custom and Made-to-Order Products

Custom and made-to-order products require production time before they can ship. Production time depends on the product, the complexity of the customization, the availability of materials, and the current production schedule. Typical production times for custom items range from one to several weeks, and we will provide an honest estimate when we quote your order.

We do not compress production estimates to make a sale. If a custom item will take four weeks to produce, we will tell you four weeks, not two. We would rather lose a sale to an honest timeline than win it with a promise we cannot keep.

Cut-to-Size Shelf Boards

Cut-to-size shelf boards involve a production step—cutting, sanding, and finishing to your specified dimensions—before they can ship. Processing time for cut-to-size boards is typically a few business days, depending on the current queue and the complexity of the cut. Unfinished boards may ship more quickly than finished boards because they do not require a finishing step.

Peak Seasons and High-Volume Periods

Certain times of year generate higher order volume: the weeks leading up to major holidays, the spring and fall home-improvement seasons, and periods when we run promotions. During these periods, processing times may be longer than usual. We will communicate any known delays on the website or in your order confirmation where possible, and we will keep you informed if your order is affected.

Order Verification

Before shipping, we may verify order details, payment information, and shipping addresses, particularly for large orders, custom orders, or orders that appear unusual. If verification requires additional information from you, we will contact you. Delays in receiving that information may delay shipment.

Shipping Methods and Carriers

Parcel Shipping

Smaller and lighter items—shelf boards within parcel limits, smaller racks, table lamps, and accessories—typically ship by parcel carrier. Parcel carriers include the major national carriers as well as regional and specialized services. Parcel shipments are generally delivered to your door and include tracking.

Parcel shipping is efficient for items that fit within the carrier’s size and weight limits, but it is not appropriate for large furniture. A 60-inch solid oak shelf board may exceed parcel limits depending on packaging, and a dining table certainly does. For those items, we use freight shipping.

Freight Shipping

Larger and heavier items—bookcases, dining tables, console tables, large shelving units, and multi-piece orders—typically ship by freight carrier. Freight shipping involves a different process than parcel shipping. The shipment is palletized, handled through a freight network, and delivered by a freight carrier, often with a delivery appointment.

Freight shipments may be delivered curbside, to the first dry area, or inside the home depending on the service selected and the carrier’s capabilities. The specific delivery method for your order will be communicated in the shipping information. If you have questions about how a freight shipment will be delivered, contact us before ordering.

Carrier Selection

We select carriers based on the product, the destination, the service level, and the carrier’s performance record. We do not use a single carrier for all shipments, because different carriers perform better in different regions and for different types of freight. Our goal is to choose the carrier that provides the best combination of reliability, care, and cost for each shipment.

We may change carriers at our discretion, including after an order is placed, if a carrier is unable to provide the expected service. We will notify you if a carrier change affects the delivery timeline or method.

White-Glove and Inside Delivery

Some items may be eligible for white-glove or inside delivery services, which include bringing the item into your home, unpacking it, and in some cases assembling it and removing packaging. Availability and cost depend on the product, the destination, and the carrier. If you are interested in white-glove service, contact us before ordering so that we can confirm availability and pricing.

Not all products are eligible for white-glove service. Large or complex items may require specialized handling that is not available in all areas. We will be honest about what is available for your order.

Shipping Costs

How Shipping Costs Are Calculated

Shipping costs depend on several factors: the size and weight of the item, the destination, the shipping method, the carrier’s rates, and any accessorial services required (such as liftgate, appointment, or inside delivery). Shipping costs are calculated at checkout for standard orders or quoted by our team for custom, freight, and international orders.

We do not mark up shipping costs to generate profit. Our goal is to recover the actual cost of shipping while providing the service level the product requires. For some products, shipping is included in the price; for others, it is calculated separately. The product page and checkout will show the applicable shipping cost.

Free Shipping Offers

From time to time, we may offer free shipping on certain products or orders that meet specific criteria. Free shipping offers generally apply only to the continental United States and may exclude oversized items, custom items, and shipments to Hawaii, Alaska, and U.S. territories. The terms of any free shipping offer will be stated on the website or in the promotion details.

If you have a question about whether a free shipping offer applies to your order, contact us before placing it. We will confirm the applicable terms.

Shipping Surcharges

Certain shipments may incur surcharges, including:

  • Oversize or overweight items that exceed standard carrier limits

  • Shipments to limited-access locations, such as schools, churches, military bases, or gated communities

  • Shipments requiring liftgate service

  • Shipments requiring inside delivery, appointment scheduling, or other accessorial services

  • Shipments to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, and other U.S. territories

  • Residential delivery surcharges imposed by freight carriers

Any applicable surcharges will be disclosed before you complete your purchase, or we will contact you before shipping if a surcharge is discovered after the order is placed. We will not add undisclosed surcharges after the fact without your approval.

Hawaii, Alaska, and U.S. Territories

Shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and other U.S. territories is possible for many products, but it typically requires additional fees due to higher carrier rates and longer transit times. Free shipping offers generally apply only to the continental United States.

If you are shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, or a U.S. territory, contact us with your address and the product you are considering before ordering. We will confirm whether shipping is possible, what the cost will be, and how long it will take. For some products, we will contact you with the cost before shipping so that you can approve it or cancel for a full refund.

International Shipping Costs

International shipping costs depend on the destination, the size and weight of the shipment, the shipping method, and any customs requirements. International shipping is quoted on a case-by-case basis. Contact us with the product details and your destination, and we will provide an estimate. We will be transparent about the costs and any limitations.

Currency and Exchange Rates

Shipping costs are quoted in U.S. dollars. If you are paying with a card issued in another currency, your bank or card issuer may apply a currency conversion fee or use its own exchange rate. We do not control these fees.

Domestic Shipping

Continental United States

We ship to addresses in the continental United States, including residential and commercial addresses. Delivery times vary depending on the destination and the shipping method. Standard parcel shipments typically arrive within a few business days after shipping, while freight shipments may take longer and may require a delivery appointment.

If you are unsure whether we can ship to your address, contact us with your zip code and the product you are considering, and we will confirm.

Hawaii and Alaska

Shipping to Hawaii and Alaska is possible for many products, but it typically requires additional fees and may involve longer transit times. Some products may not be eligible for shipping to Hawaii or Alaska due to size, weight, or carrier limitations. Contact us before ordering so that we can confirm feasibility and cost.

U.S. Territories

Shipping to Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and other U.S. territories is evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Contact us with your address and the product you are considering. We will confirm whether shipping is possible, what the cost will be, and any documentation requirements.

P.O. Boxes

We generally do not ship to P.O. boxes for larger items, because parcel and freight carriers require a physical street address for delivery. Some smaller items may be eligible for P.O. box delivery depending on the carrier and the item. If you need to ship to a P.O. box, contact us before ordering so that we can confirm whether it is possible.

APO and FPO Addresses

Shipping to APO and FPO addresses is evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Delivery times to military addresses can be longer than standard domestic delivery times, and some items may not be eligible due to size or weight. Contact us before ordering so that we can confirm feasibility and provide an accurate timeline.

Rural and Remote Addresses

Rural and remote addresses may have longer delivery times and may be subject to additional surcharges from carriers. If you are shipping to a rural or remote address, contact us before ordering so that we can confirm the shipping cost and timeline.

Residential vs. Commercial Addresses

Freight carriers often charge different rates for residential and commercial deliveries, and delivery methods may differ. A residential delivery may be curbside or to the first dry area, while a commercial delivery may be to a loading dock. If you have a commercial address with a loading dock or forklift, tell us before shipping so that we can select the appropriate service and avoid unnecessary surcharges.

Delivery Timelines and Estimates

Transit Times

Transit times depend on the carrier, the shipping method, and the destination. Parcel shipments within the continental United States typically arrive within two to seven business days after shipping, depending on the distance and the service level. Freight shipments typically take longer, and the delivery window may be several days rather than a specific date.

Transit times do not include processing time. If an item requires three business days of processing and five business days of transit, the total time from order to delivery is approximately eight business days, plus any weekends or holidays.

Delivery Estimates Are Not Guarantees

Delivery estimates are provided in good faith based on information available from carriers and our own processing timelines. However, delivery estimates are not guarantees. Actual delivery times may vary due to carrier delays, weather conditions, customs processing, and other factors beyond our control. We are not liable for delays in delivery that are caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

We understand that delivery timing matters, especially when a customer is coordinating a renovation or moving into a new home. If you have a firm deadline, tell us before ordering. We will tell you honestly whether we can meet it. We will not promise a date we cannot deliver.

Weekend and Holiday Delivery

Most carriers do not deliver on Sundays or major holidays, and some do not deliver on Saturdays. Processing and transit timelines should account for weekends and holidays. If your order is time-sensitive, contact us before ordering so that we can advise you on the expected timeline.

Tracking and Shipment Communication

Tracking Information

Tracking information is typically provided when an order ships. Tracking information is generated by the carrier, not by BN C-CORPT Inc. Once a package is in the carrier’s network, the carrier controls the day-to-day movement of the shipment.

Tracking updates may not appear immediately after a shipment is created. Carriers sometimes take hours or even a full business day to scan a package into their system. If tracking shows no movement for a short period, this is usually normal. If tracking shows no movement for an extended period, contact us and we will investigate.

Freight Tracking

Freight shipments may have different tracking behavior than parcel shipments. A freight shipment may move through multiple terminals, and tracking updates may be less granular than parcel tracking. For freight shipments, the carrier may contact you to schedule a delivery appointment. It is important that the contact phone number on the order is accurate and that someone is available to answer calls from the carrier.

Proactive Updates

We try to provide proactive updates when we know that a shipment is delayed or when a delivery appointment is required. However, we rely on carriers for much of the shipment information, and we may not always know about a delay before the carrier updates its tracking. If you have a question about your shipment, contact us and we will check the status.

Delivery Appointment Scheduling

For freight shipments, the carrier may require a delivery appointment. The carrier will typically contact you by phone to schedule the appointment. If you miss the call, the carrier may leave a message with instructions. It is important to respond promptly to avoid delays or storage fees. If you have not been contacted and your shipment appears to be in the local terminal, contact us and we will help coordinate.

Delivery Requirements and Access

Access to the Delivery Location

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the delivery location is accessible to the carrier. This includes:

  • A clear path from the street to the delivery point

  • Adequate space for the carrier’s vehicle to park and maneuver

  • Any necessary gate codes, building access codes, or security clearances

  • Information about stairs, elevators, narrow hallways, or other obstacles that may affect delivery

If the carrier cannot access the delivery location, the shipment may be delayed, returned to the terminal, or returned to us, and additional fees may apply. Please tell us about any access limitations before shipping so that we can pass the information to the carrier where possible.

Curbside Delivery

Many freight shipments are delivered curbside. This means the carrier will place the shipment at the curb or at the edge of your property, and you are responsible for moving it from that point. Curbside delivery is the most common and most economical freight delivery method. If you need the shipment brought inside, ask about inside delivery or white-glove service before ordering.

First Dry Area Delivery

Some carriers deliver to the first dry area, such as a covered porch or garage, rather than curbside. The exact delivery point depends on the carrier and the service level. If you have a preference, tell us before shipping.

Inside Delivery

Inside delivery means the carrier brings the shipment into your home. Availability and cost depend on the carrier and the destination. Inside delivery may not include unpacking, assembly, or placement in a specific room. If you need those services, ask about white-glove delivery before ordering.

Liftgate Service

Liftgate service is a hydraulic platform on the back of a truck that lowers the shipment to the ground. It is often required when a shipment is too heavy or too large to unload by hand and the delivery location does not have a loading dock or forklift. If liftgate service is required for your shipment, it may be included or may be an additional cost. We will explain the applicable terms before shipping.

Stairs, Elevators, and Narrow Spaces

Carriers are not obligated to carry shipments up stairs or through narrow spaces unless the service level includes that. If your delivery location has stairs, a narrow hallway, a small elevator, or a tight turn, tell us before shipping. We will discuss the options and any additional costs. Failure to disclose access limitations may result in the carrier refusing to deliver the item or charging additional fees.

Gated Communities and Limited-Access Locations

Deliveries to gated communities, military bases, schools, hospitals, and other limited-access locations may require special arrangements. Provide the necessary access information before shipping. Carriers may charge additional fees for limited-access deliveries, and those fees may be passed on to the customer if they were not disclosed in advance.

Signature Requirements

Some shipments require a signature at delivery. If a signature is required, the carrier will not leave the shipment unattended. It is important that someone is available to sign for the delivery. If no one is available, the carrier may attempt redelivery or may return the shipment to the terminal, and additional fees may apply.

If a shipment does not require a signature, the carrier may leave it at the delivery location. If you prefer that a shipment not be left unattended, tell us before shipping, and we will discuss the options.

Unattended Delivery Risks

If a shipment is delivered without a signature and left unattended, the risk of loss or damage after delivery may pass to the customer. If you are concerned about theft or weather damage, arrange for someone to be present at delivery or choose a delivery method that requires a signature.

Receiving Freight Shipments: A Critical Checklist

Why Inspection Matters

Freight shipments are large, heavy, and handled multiple times between the shipper and the customer. Damage can occur at any point in the process. The single most important thing a customer can do to protect themselves is to inspect the shipment at the time of delivery, before signing the delivery receipt.

Once you sign the delivery receipt without noting damage, it becomes much more difficult to prove that the damage occurred in transit rather than after delivery. This is not a rule created by BN C-CORPT Inc; it is a standard practice in the freight industry, and it affects our ability to file a claim with the carrier on your behalf.

What to Inspect

When the carrier arrives, inspect the shipment before signing anything. Look for:

  • Visible damage to the packaging, such as crushed corners, tears, punctures, water stains, or evidence of rough handling

  • Missing pieces or shrink wrap that appears to have been opened

  • Signs that the shipment has been dropped or stacked improperly

  • Any discrepancy between the number of pieces on the delivery receipt and the number of pieces delivered

If possible, open the packaging and inspect the product itself before signing. If the carrier will not allow you to open the packaging, note “subject to inspection” on the delivery receipt before signing.

What to Write on the Delivery Receipt

If you see damage or suspect damage, write a clear description on the delivery receipt before signing. For example: “Carton crushed on left corner, possible damage to contents” or “Two pieces missing from shipment.” Take photos of the packaging and the damage. Do not sign a clean receipt if there is visible damage.

If the driver refuses to allow you to note damage on the receipt, contact us immediately before signing, if possible. If you must sign, write “signed under protest” and note the reason.

Refusing a Shipment

If a shipment is severely damaged and you believe the contents are unusable, you may refuse the shipment. If you refuse a shipment, contact us immediately so that we can coordinate with the carrier and arrange a replacement or refund. Do not refuse a shipment without contacting us, because the process for refused shipments differs from the process for accepted shipments with noted damage.

Reporting Damage After Delivery

If you discover damage after the carrier has left, contact us as soon as possible. Include photos of the packaging and the product, and describe the damage. Keep the packaging until the claim is resolved. Late reports may be harder to resolve, so prompt reporting is strongly encouraged.

Damage, Loss, and Shortage Claims

Reporting a Claim

If a shipment arrives damaged, is lost in transit, or is missing pieces, contact us as soon as possible at huy.duc.399@gmail.com with the subject line “Damaged Shipment,” “Lost Shipment,” or “Shortage.” Include your order number, photos, and a description of the issue. We will work with you and the carrier to resolve the claim.

Claim Investigation

Carrier claims can take time to investigate. The carrier may need to inspect the packaging, the damaged item, or both. We will coordinate with you on the process and keep you informed of the status. Please do not discard the packaging or the damaged item until the claim is resolved, as this may affect our ability to process the claim.

Resolution Options

Depending on the nature of the issue, we may offer one or more of the following resolutions:

  • A replacement part or product

  • A repair, if the item can be repaired effectively

  • A partial refund, if the issue is minor or cosmetic

  • A full refund, if the item cannot be repaired or replaced satisfactorily

  • A return and replacement, if the item needs to be returned

We will work with you to determine the most appropriate resolution based on the specific circumstances.

Carrier Liability

Carrier liability for damage or loss is governed by the carrier’s terms and applicable law. We will pursue claims with the carrier where appropriate and will work to resolve the issue for you. Our goal is to make you whole, not to leave you waiting for a carrier claim to be resolved. In many cases, we can arrange a replacement or refund while the carrier claim is pending.

Address Accuracy and Changes

Providing an Accurate Address

It is the customer’s responsibility to provide an accurate and complete shipping address at checkout. This includes the street address, apartment or suite number, city, state, ZIP code, and any delivery instructions. An inaccurate or incomplete address can cause delays, failed deliveries, or additional fees.

If you realize that you provided an incorrect address, contact us immediately. If the order has not yet shipped, we may be able to correct the address. If the order has already shipped, we may be able to request an address correction from the carrier, but this is not always possible and may incur additional fees.

Address Changes After Shipping

Address changes after a shipment is in transit are subject to the carrier’s policies and may incur additional fees. We will assist where possible, but we cannot guarantee that an address change can be made after shipment. In some cases, the carrier may return the shipment to us, and a new shipment may need to be arranged at additional cost.

Undeliverable Addresses

If a shipment is undeliverable because of an incorrect address, an inaccessible location, or a failure to respond to carrier communications, the shipment may be returned to us. In that case, we will contact you to arrange reshipment or a refund, subject to the applicable policies and any fees incurred.

International Shipping

Case-by-Case Evaluation

We serve international customers on a case-by-case basis. Solid wood furniture is heavy and expensive to ship internationally, and customs duties, taxes, and import requirements vary by country. Before we accept an international order, we evaluate whether shipping is feasible, what the cost will be, and what documentation is required.

To request an international shipping quote, email us at huy.duc.399@gmail.com with the product name or link, the quantity, your country, your postal code, and any deadline or timing constraints. We will respond with an estimate and any applicable conditions.

Customs Duties, Taxes, and Fees

Customs duties, taxes, and fees imposed by the destination country are generally the responsibility of the customer. These fees are not included in the product price or shipping cost unless expressly stated. They are also not refundable by BN C-CORPT Inc, even if the item is returned.

If you refuse a shipment because of customs fees, the return may be treated as a change-of-mind return, and the applicable conditions will apply. You may also be responsible for return shipping costs and any fees incurred.

Customs Documentation

International shipments require customs documentation, including a commercial invoice and other forms as required by the destination country. We will prepare the necessary documentation based on the information you provide. Accurate product descriptions, values, and country of origin information are required. We cannot falsify customs documents or undervalue shipments to reduce duties, as this would violate the law.

Customs Delays

Customs processing can add significant time to international shipments. A shipment may be held for inspection, documentation review, or duty assessment. We do not control customs processing and cannot guarantee a delivery date for international shipments. We will provide tracking information where available and will assist with documentation requests.

Restricted and Prohibited Items

Some products may be restricted or prohibited in certain countries. It is the customer’s responsibility to confirm that the product can be legally imported into the destination country. If a shipment is seized or refused by customs because the product is restricted or prohibited, we are not responsible for the loss, and the customer is responsible for any costs incurred.

International Returns

International returns are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Return shipping from outside the United States can be expensive, and customs requirements may apply. Contact us to discuss the process and costs. In some cases, international returns may not be practical, and we will discuss alternative resolutions.

Undeliverable, Refused, and Returned Shipments

Refused Shipments

If you refuse a shipment without prior communication with us, the shipment may be returned to us, and you may be responsible for the original shipping cost, the return shipping cost, and any fees incurred. If you need to refuse a shipment, contact us first so that we can coordinate with the carrier and discuss the best approach.

Undeliverable Shipments

If a shipment cannot be delivered because of an incorrect address, an inaccessible location, a failure to respond to carrier communications, or a refusal to pay customs fees, the shipment may be returned to us. We will contact you to arrange reshipment or a refund, subject to the applicable policies and any fees incurred.

Storage Fees

Freight carriers may charge storage fees if a shipment is held at a terminal because the customer cannot be reached, refuses delivery, or fails to schedule a delivery appointment. Storage fees are the customer’s responsibility if they result from the customer’s actions or inaction. We will work with you to avoid storage fees where possible, but we cannot waive fees charged by the carrier.

Return to Sender

If a shipment is returned to us, we will inspect it upon receipt and contact you to discuss options. Options may include reshipment at additional cost, a refund subject to the applicable policies, or another resolution. Return shipping costs and any fees incurred may be deducted from the refund.

Weather, Carrier Disruptions, and Force Majeure

Weather Delays

Weather can disrupt shipping at any time of year. Snowstorms, hurricanes, flooding, extreme heat, and other weather events can delay pickups, transit, and deliveries. We cannot control the weather, and we cannot guarantee delivery during or immediately after a weather event. We will communicate known delays and work with carriers to resume delivery as soon as conditions allow.

Carrier Disruptions

Carriers occasionally experience disruptions such as system outages, labor issues, or network congestion. These disruptions can delay shipments. We will monitor the situation and keep you informed where possible. If a carrier disruption affects your shipment, we will work with the carrier to resolve the issue or arrange an alternative where feasible.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures to deliver caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor disputes, supplier shortages, carrier delays, government actions, or failures of third-party services. We will make reasonable efforts to mitigate the impact and to communicate with you about the situation.

Peak Season and Holiday Shipping

Higher Volume, Longer Timelines

During peak seasons—such as the weeks leading up to major holidays, the spring and fall home-improvement seasons, and periods when we run promotions—order volume increases, and processing and shipping times may be longer than usual. Carriers also experience higher volume and may have limited capacity.

We recommend ordering early during peak seasons, especially for custom items and items needed by a specific date. If you have a firm deadline, tell us before ordering so that we can advise you honestly.

Holiday Closures

Our business office may be closed on major U.S. holidays, and carriers may not pick up or deliver on those days. Processing and transit timelines should account for holidays. If your order is time-sensitive, contact us before ordering so that we can advise you on the expected timeline.

Weather and Peak Season Combined

Peak season often coincides with winter weather in some regions. The combination of high volume and weather disruptions can produce significant delays. We will communicate known issues and work to resolve them, but we cannot guarantee delivery dates during these periods.

Order Changes, Cancellations, and Shipping

Changes Before Shipment

If you need to change an order before it ships—such as changing the shipping address, adding an item, or upgrading the delivery service—contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate the change, but changes may not be possible if the order is already in production or packed for shipment.

Cancellations Before Shipment

If you need to cancel an order before it ships, contact us as soon as possible. If the order has not shipped or entered production, we may be able to cancel it and issue a refund through Stripe. If the order has already shipped or entered production, cancellation may not be possible, and the Refund and Return Policy will apply.

Changes After Shipment

Changes after a shipment is in transit are subject to the carrier’s policies and may incur additional fees. We will assist where possible, but we cannot guarantee that a change can be made after shipment.

Split Shipments, Backorders, and Partial Shipments

Split Shipments

If an order includes multiple items that ship from different locations or require different shipping methods, the order may be split into multiple shipments. Each shipment will have its own tracking information where available. Split shipments may arrive on different dates.

Backorders

If an item is out of stock and expected to return to stock, we may offer a backorder option. We will provide an estimated restock date and will keep you informed of any changes. If you prefer not to wait, you can request a refund for the backordered item.

Partial Shipments

If part of an order is available and part is not, we may ship the available items first and the remaining items later. We will communicate the status of each shipment. If you prefer to wait for a complete shipment, tell us before ordering, and we will advise whether that is possible.

Packaging and Sustainability

Protective Packaging

Furniture packaging must protect heavy, bulky items through multiple handling steps. We use packaging materials appropriate to the product and the shipping method, including corrugated cartons, foam, corner protectors, stretch wrap, and pallets for freight shipments. Our goal is to ensure that products arrive in the condition they left our facility.

Packaging Materials

We use a combination of recyclable and recycled-content materials where practical. We encourage customers to recycle packaging materials where local recycling programs allow. For large freight shipments, the pallet and packaging may need to be disposed of by the customer unless white-glove service with packaging removal is selected.

Reporting Packaging Problems

If you receive a shipment with packaging that appears inadequate or damaged, please report it to us. Packaging problems can indicate a carrier handling issue or a packaging design issue, and we use that information to improve our processes.

Commercial and Jobsite Deliveries

Commercial Deliveries

Commercial deliveries may be made to a loading dock or receiving area. If your business has specific receiving hours, a loading dock, a forklift, or other requirements, tell us before shipping so that we can coordinate with the carrier. Commercial deliveries may have different surcharges and service levels than residential deliveries.

Jobsite Deliveries

Jobsite deliveries are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Jobsites can be difficult to access, and deliveries may be subject to delays or additional fees. If you need a delivery to a jobsite, contact us before ordering so that we can discuss the logistics and any additional costs.

Freight Forwarders and Third-Party Addresses

If you use a freight forwarder or a third-party address to receive your shipment, tell us before ordering. Shipments to freight forwarders or third-party addresses may have different terms, and we may not be able to assist with issues that arise after the shipment is received by the forwarder. The customer is responsible for coordinating with the forwarder.

Customer Responsibilities Summary

To help your shipment arrive safely and on time, please:

Frequently Asked Shipping Questions

How long will it take to receive my order?

Delivery time depends on the product, the shipping method, and the destination. In-stock products typically ship within one to three business days, and transit time depends on the carrier and destination. Custom and made-to-order products require additional production time. Contact us before ordering if you have a firm deadline.

Do you ship to my address?

We ship within the United States and, on a case-by-case basis, internationally. Contact us with your zip code or country and the product you are considering, and we will confirm feasibility and cost.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs depend on the item, the destination, the shipping method, and the carrier’s rates. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout for standard orders or quoted by our team for custom, freight, and international orders.

Will I receive tracking information?

Yes, tracking information is typically provided when an order ships. Tracking information is generated by the carrier, not by BN C-CORPT Inc.

What if tracking shows no movement?

Carriers sometimes take hours or a full business day to scan a package into their system. If tracking shows no movement for an extended period, contact us and we will investigate.

What if my package is delayed?

Carrier delays can occur due to weather, high volume, or operational issues. If the delay appears significant or the package appears stuck, contact us with your order number, and we will help investigate.

Do you deliver inside my home?

Delivery methods vary by product and carrier. Some shipments are delivered to your door, some are curbside, and some may include inside delivery depending on the service selected. Contact us before ordering if you need inside delivery or white-glove service.

Do you ship to Hawaii, Alaska, or U.S. territories?

Shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, and other U.S. territories is possible for many products but may require additional fees. Contact us with your address and the product you are considering.

Do you ship internationally?

We serve international customers on a case-by-case basis. Contact us with the product details and your destination for an estimate.

Who pays for customs duties and taxes?

Customs duties, taxes, and fees imposed by the destination country are generally the responsibility of the customer.

What if my shipment arrives damaged?

Contact us as soon as possible with your order number, photos of the damage, and photos of the packaging. Keep the original packaging until the issue is resolved.

What if I received the wrong item?

Contact us immediately with your order number and photos of the item you received. We will arrange for the correct item to be shipped and for the incorrect item to be returned.

Can I change my shipping address after ordering?

If the order has not yet shipped, we may be able to correct the address. If the order has already shipped, changes are subject to the carrier’s policies and may incur additional fees.

Can I cancel my order after it ships?

If the order has already shipped, cancellation may not be possible. You may need to receive the item and then initiate a return under our Refund and Return Policy.

Do you require a signature for delivery?

Some shipments require a signature. If a signature is required, the carrier will not leave the shipment unattended. If you prefer that a shipment not be left unattended, tell us before shipping.

What if I am not home when the carrier arrives?

If a signature is required and no one is available, the carrier may attempt redelivery or return the shipment to the terminal, and additional fees may apply. If a signature is not required, the carrier may leave the shipment at the delivery location.

What if the carrier cannot access my location?

If the carrier cannot access the delivery location, the shipment may be delayed, returned to the terminal, or returned to us, and additional fees may apply. Tell us about any access limitations before shipping.

Do you charge storage fees?

Freight carriers may charge storage fees if a shipment is held because the customer cannot be reached, refuses delivery, or fails to schedule a delivery appointment. Storage fees are the customer’s responsibility if they result from the customer’s actions or inaction.

What if my shipment is lost?

If a shipment appears lost, contact us with your order number. We will investigate with the carrier and work to resolve the issue, which may include a replacement or refund.

Can I pick up my order locally?

Local pickup may be available for some products. Contact us before ordering to discuss whether local pickup is possible and what the process is. Our Houston office is a coordination location, not a retail showroom.
